  This property is located in the historic capital of the Conflent region and is 2 Km from the newly nominated UNESCO world heritage site of Villefranche-de-Conflent. Now no longer the capital of the region, the village is quiet and charming and offers an excellent base for exploring the region. It is immensely popular with walkers and cyclists as it has so many pisted walks and tracks taking you around the area and up the Famous Canigou mountain (Protected area).
 The spacious ‘Maison de Village’ sleeps 6 and is conveniently situated just 50m from the village centre. Within the village is a small bakery/grocery along with a post office so if you  just want to relax and forget about the car it is not a problem. During the Spring, Summer and Autumn months, there is also a convenient tourist information office open within the village where valuable advice can be sought and also visits arranged around the villages famous church.
  Within the house, two of the double bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms (shower, basin and w.c) and there is a further separate shared bathroom (bath and basin) along with a separate w.c on the ground floor. All bedrooms have their own private balconies with views over the surrounding terracotta tiled roofs and the mountains beyond. On the ground floor is the spacious Sitting room equipped with TV, DVD player, books and games and also the Kitchen/dining area (fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge, toaster, washing machine and dishwasher)
The property is centrally heated and also has a fantastic open fire in the sitting room which makes it a great getaway for all seasons.
