How do I book ?

Booking is relatively straightforward. Although we do not offer on-line booking, we do update our site regularly with the availability. First check the Availability page for the appropriate property. If the period is available, please call, email or alternatively write to us. As soon as you have contacted us, we will reserve the week for you and as long as the deposit is received within 7 days, the week is yours. The deposit we ask for is 25% of the advertised price which will hold the property of your choice. The remainder of the cost is payable 21 days before arrival at the property

Are there any other payments due on arrival ?

Our UK Sterling prices include all utilities (electricity, water and gas), wood for the fire and any local taxes. Some of our properties also include linen and towels although others do not. In that cases, we can supply linen and towels on request for a small additional charge. Please refer to the tariff pages to ascertain whether linen is included or not. One thing we ask for is a security deposit (in the form of a cheque) to cover the cost of repairs or replacement if any damage to the property or contents occurs during your holiday. This deposit cheque is not cashed and will be returned to you after your departure day if all is well. The cost of the security deposit is a fixed fee of £100.

How do we get to the area ?

Most of our clients either drive or fly although it is possible to use the train. It is possible to travel to Perpignan (the nearest main city) by TGV (high speed train) all the way from Waterloo in London. This takes around 12 hours and from experience offers a relaxing way to the Pyrenees. If driving, it takes around 14 hours to travel from Calais and from our experience, is best done over a two day period, which allows a few scenic stop-offs along the way.
If flying, the closest airport is Perpignan and various airlines fly into here. These include
Air France,
Ryanair
Flybe
From the UK it is possible to fly direct from London Stansted, Manchester, Southampton and Birmingham. All these routes are with the low cost airlines. Other airports in the area are Girona (Spain), Nimes, Carcasonne and Montpelier. Girona being the closest and being approx. 1-2 hours drive. This airport also has the advantage that many more routes to the UK/Ireland are available such as Glasgow and Dublin.
